Photography, video and installation artist, lives and works in Tallinn. 2003 MA in Photographic Studies, Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn; 2002 in exchange Photographic Studies MA at University of Westminster, London. 1989 graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in graphic fine art. In 1998 she participated in the ArtsLink Fellowship program at The Friends of Photography/Anselm Adams Center, San Francisco. In 1995 America-bound II Exchange artist at The Lower East Side Printshop in New York.
Her works examine different aspects of femininity, social space, memory and desire. She has had around thirty solo exhibitions in Estonia, Germany (Giedre Bartelt Gallery, Berlin), Belgium, Latvia, Finland and France. Has participated in number of international group shows in Estonia and abroad to mention Museum of Contemporary Art in Szczecin, Poland; Winzavod in Moscow; Villa Manin in Italy; Finnish Photography Museum in Helsinki; Rauma Art Museum, Finland; Moderna Museet in Stockholm; Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin and Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC among others. Her videos have been shown at the Rencontres International Paris/Madrid/Berlin film festival.
Works in collections of Neues Museum für Kunst und Design, Nürnberg; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Art Museum of Estonia, Tartu Art Museum etc.
